A Boy and his Dog

Our first child was a small 4lb. HOT DOG. He is now a huge 11lbs. (ha ha). When Dominick was broght home from the hospital, we introduced the 2 for the first. Right away, Rocky took a huge likeing to his baby brother. Now that Dominick is older he refers to Rock as his best Buddy. Here is a pose from the other day. Who looks happier???

Where Did The Time Go ??????

WOW !!! Looking through some old pictures in a effort to try and organize the approx 20,000 that I have on here, I found a picture below of the day we brought Dominick home in Oct. 2005.........Wow, lok at that, small, tiny, sleeping, in daddy's arms. As they say, you can't wait until the walk and talk etc...... Although Dominick is so much fun now running and interacting and holding conversations........Looking at this picture kinda makes me sad. Little "MAN" really does not cuddle anymore. In fact, today i gave him a kiss on the cheek and he proceded to grab a blanket and wipe his face off and tell me "ewwwww daddy gross !!!!!!!" Where does the time go?

Progress...............

Well as some know I work directly across the street from the WTC construction site. It really does not look like alot of progress takes place, but boy when you look at a picture from almost a year ago to now, wow. Look at the 2 pictures below. They are of the same spot. Look close, look at the wall on the left. Look how far down they have dug out. Crazy stuff. To be honest, some times it creeps me out loking at the "hole". They have been doing alot of blasting there too and the first time they did it, we all kinda jumped up and were ready to run. I will take some more progress pics and post them up soon. 9/11 never forget............. I sure can't staring at the hole everyday.................

Weekend Recap

Well it was a BUSy weekend again. It was a FUN weekend !!!!! After the long week of work for us all, it was time for some fun with Dominick. Saturday, we made our way to Wild West City !!! The last time I was there was probally when I was a tad bit older than Dominick. That is an "interesting" place to say the least. It opened up in 1957............and I bet today it is exactly the same........ Dominick seemed to have a good time, we went on a train ride, saw some western shows, pet some "funky" animals, took a pony ride and caught some villians. There is a picture of the villian pointing at me. Hang him I say............. Sunday we went to Aunt Erins boyfriends, parents house. You get that???? Ok then. If any of you know Dominick, he is obsessed with Monster Trucks, Trains, Buses, and DIGGERS, BULLDOZERS, DUMPTRUCKS etc....................(anything with wheels) So check out the picture of Dominick Driving a REAL LIFE DIGGER !!!!!!!!! Thank you Aunt Erin's boyfriend (Michael) father (Larry) for the digger Lesson !!!!!! All in all Great weekend, Back to work on Monday boo hoo !!!!!!

Ahhhhh post number 3. Some might ask about my naming of my blog. The photography bug has hit me and hit me pretty hard. So I have in recent times been known to take alot of pictures latley. As most know, I have a 2.5 year old little guy who is a ball of energy. Always running about. So this started with me buying a Digital Nikon SLR camera..................Fantastic !!!! Fast, quality, and lots of buttons..................Then comes, flashes, lenses, cf cards, tons of pics and has not ended yet................. I have been practicing and I must admit, I am getting pretty good. I currently have 2 weddings in August that I will be assisting at and just did a great new picture for my fathers summertime gig. So as part of this blog, I will most likley Try to post the picture of the day, week, month, or somethng like that. All comments good or bad welcome. Thanks !!!!!!

It is What it is

Well it’s Monday. I always have a “case of the Monday’s”. Had to quote office space, Office space the Movie that is!!! My company has some quirky ideas to say the least. We as employee’s to be politically correct tell people that our company is “Unique”. We also say that our motto is, “it is what it is”. Change is not accepted here. They way it’s done, is the way it’s done. No exceptions…….. Hence it is what it is. My team used to have late hours one time a week for everyone. So we would work from 9am to 8pm. Yes sounds rough, but it really was not that terrible. Work from 9 to 5 with our hour lunch and then take another break from 5 to 6 and work from 6 to 8pm. Then our big shinny Lincoln Town car would pick us up out front and drop us off at our doorstep. Not so bad, plus received 3 hours of comp time that we could “technically” take when we wanted. Not terrible. Was a decent perk. Well………….abruptly one day this ended. So we have new “FLEX” hours. Love how they try and put a pleasant, positive happy tone to torture us. Now we all work a day from 11 to 7, no ride home, no comp time………..GREAT “FLEX” ????????? More like oh your going to FLEX for us be we will not FLEX for you…………. Ahhhhhh UNIQUE …………………..

One more time

Hello, This is the 2nd time that I am actually starting a blog. Last time was a big failure since i posted about 3 times and never did it again. This time around I hope to keep current with this blog and share some thoughts, rants, raves, and some pictures with everyone. Well wish me luck, and I hope that I will maybe have something worth while to say.
